Who knows what’s in store for 2021 ... whatever it is, we hope it’s exciting.
This January is already shaping up to be very different to every other — but that shouldn’t stop us coming up with some plans for how as a business we can tackle the year ahead.
And, January is the perfect month to put together some of them plans. After all January is Planuary!
There are so many ways to decide on a strategy, you may even need more than one. That is what we’re going to help you do this month.
The best starting point is to make sure you’ve got these points covered:
- What stage are you at?
- Where do you want to be?
- What do you need?
- Who do you need?
- Where can you find the right tools for the job?
- Can you get any support?
Our number one tip is to speak to an advisor. Sometimes as business owners, we are so close to the organisation that we can’t see the wood for the trees, allowing some of the quick wins and most obvious opportunities to pass us by.
An independent advisor, such as an accountant, business coach, finance consultant, or IFA can open your eyes to the different things to consider in your business plan, and how to better manage cash flow.
An outside perspective can always help, even if it's to clarify just what you don't want to do!
Remember, nothing has to be set in stone. Different obstacles will present themselves at different times every year, but putting together a plan can help you feel prepared for what might come your way.
Use this new lockdown to focus on your plans, we will never get this time again —hopefully!
At ABL, we don’t know everything, but we always know someone that does. Which is why building long-lasting relationships is important to us as it allows us to create great partnerships and help more businesses get access to the knowledge they need.
We will soon be launching enABL, focusing on enhancing the power of partnerships —get in touch if you're interested in finding out more.
What are you plans for 2021?
