Dave’s going to Jail! Can you help set him free?
Convicted for singing and playing too much 80’s music, ABL’s Regional Managing Director, David Baum will be spending the day (25th March) in jail but it’s all for a good cause.
Raising money for Children’s Hospice South West, Dave will be reaching out to his contacts to try and raise his bail of £999.
Children’s Hospice South West provides children with life-limiting conditions and their parent's support at a difficult time.
On the day, Dave will be ‘arrested’ and then ‘charged’ by a judge, in a mock court session. From there he will be taken to his cell where he will be provided with his phone, laptop and contact book. It’s then up to Dave to reach out to as many of his contacts to help him pay his bail to be set free!
This fantastic event has been set up by the team at Children’s Hospice South West to help raise vital funds for the charity.
Without these events and fund-raising opportunities, they wouldn’t be able to keep providing the excellent care that they do.
‘I’m really looking forward to taking part in this event. It’s something a bit different and provides a great opportunity to get in touch with everyone on my phone.” Said Dave.
“Children’s Hospice South West is a really great charity. I think it’s important for local businesses to support their local charities. They are helping the people in our community so it’s only right that we get involved in any way that we can.”
Keeping with the theme the event will take place at the old Bridewell Police Station.
As well as getting arrested and spending the day in Jail, Dave has also had to hand over a hamper to be auctioned on the day! Filled with lots of local tasty treats will you be the one bagging this prize?
All that’s left to do now is help get Dave out of Jail! If you’d like to pay Dave’s bail you can do so here https://www.chsw.org.uk/event/jail-bail-bristol-2022
